Woof, another delayed Quarterly Report. So many reasons, but one of them is the fact that I haven’t really had a strong handle on the last three months of music. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve listened to a lot of new music, but I really can’t seem to decide how they should be ranked (not that the ranking really matters). You could mix up my top 10 in any order and I wouldn’t blink. My 10 could easily be my No. 1 and vice versa. It’s been an indecisive time. Oh well, I’ve quite enjoyed a lot, I just haven’t really gone in depth with these albums yet.
Oh, and one more thing. I’ve been kicking it around in my mind to expand the content of this site beyond music. At least to some movie talk. Is this a good idea? Is it too silly? What say you?

It’s Spring 2011. You know what that means. It’s time for me to finally post my top 25 albums of 2010. I’ll start with the top 15 because I still have to do a bit more writing for the top 10. I was a little in and out during 2010, but a recent flurry of missed releases have been hitting my ears and I’m amazed how strong a year it actually was. Enjoy.

February 4th, 2011

Alright, 2010 is done, 2011 is in full bloom (February already?) and I’m once again scrambling to piece some year end lists out long after everybody stopped caring. The big one’s coming, but here are 10 moments that I wish had been reconsidered for their respective albums. None of these songs are necessarily a travesty to mankind, but I feel their respective albums would be better off without their existence. Feh.
